Student Transportation of America (STA) Maintenance Team Ready for the Test
Wall, NJ (October 25, 2010) – Student Transportation of America (STA) (TSX: STB), one of the fastest-growing and most progressive school transportation companies in the nation, announced that more than 85% of its 200-member U.S. maintenance team has been working towards becoming fully recognized as certified Master School Bus technicians under the ASE School Bus Technician Test Series.

The ASE School Bus Technician Test Series includes multiple certification exams such as Body Systems and Special Equipment, Diesel Engines, Drive Train, Brakes, Suspension and Steering, and Electrical/Electronic Systems.

Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island (Oct. 28-31)
Only the top-60 leading money winners will be in Charleston, S.C. for the $1 million Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island this week. The goal of the Nationwide Tour Championship at Daniel Island is to support its host organization, the Student Transportation of America Education Foundation (STAEF), as well as raise funds for local charities via ticket sales. The STAEF recently directed some of the proceeds from the 2009 event to fund 16 partial collegiate scholarships for high school seniors in the Greater Charleston area.
