Raje Dwaraka Named Chief Financial Officer of Student Transportation of America, Inc.
WALL, N.J., February 3, 2025 – Student Transportation of America (STA), announced today that Raje Dwaraka has joined the company’s Leadership Team as Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Dwaraka is a senior finance executive with 25 years of leadership experience across public, private and PE-backed companies in diverse industries including manufacturing, technology and services.

Dwaraka brings extensive experience in strategic planning, risk management, business and finance transformation and liquidity improvement. Her experience in optimizing financial operations, spearheading large-scale projects and driving organizational growth through mergers and acquisitions will be pivotal as STA continues to expand its capabilities and services in new and existing markets.

Dwaraka is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and a Chartered Accountant (CA). She earned her Bachelor of Commerce degree from Madras University, India. Most recently, Dwaraka served as CFO of Davis-Standard and prior to that, she held the Chief Accounting Officer role at Nielson IQ. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a strong ability to enhance operational performance, steer strategic initiatives and lead financial teams in manufacturing and service industries, positioning companies for continued success.
