While school may be out during the summer months, class is still in session for many of our drivers and other team members. Over the summer, STA focuses on hiring and training new school bus drivers, allowing them to gain real-world experience before the school year begins. Our team of drivers, mechanics, monitors, and managers is hard at work conducting safety inspections, refining routes, and completing comprehensive training for the new year. To continually ensure your child’s safety, we always stick to the path of strict protocols so only the safest and most qualified drivers are behind the wheel.

Your child’s safety while in our care is of utmost importance, and why we prioritize maintaining the highest safety standards and equipping our drivers with everything they need before hitting the road. Back-to-school meetings for our school bus drivers and other staff is an ongoing process, especially at the start of a new school year. Members of the STA team review procedures to see what may or may not be working, and collaborate to come up with new and more efficient procedures, enabling our bus drivers to stay up to date on evolving best practices.
